Hi,
I decided to write about the town I grew up in. It's a small town in Ogemaw county. I started living there when I was five. There is a small town about five miles away called Lupton. That, Readers, is where I started Kindergarten.
You may be asking, what is the fun and excitment in tiny town #1 . Well it's my job to find some things. It all truly depends on your outlook : "country" vs. "city" or maybe "undetermined". It isn't like a ghost town, ur like an hour from Saginaw. There are some schooling options. [You can't see the Canadian Border from your back porch. ;)]
If you like recreational things like hunting and fishing and swimming and camping ect. (None of which truly make me joyful.) Then your probably all set. If you're like me... Well the library is nice, but small. The librarians are nice though. Prepare yourself for a small (very tiny) library and get used to the idea of a no-wifi library (new to me) {kinda}, audiobooks, and do not start reading "The Kitchen Princess" at ten a.m. On a Saturday because the library closes at two P.M. and you will be only finished book 8/ of ten. (Reading time may vary.)
Rose city has it's own: Grocery Store, a drug store, two or three hair salons, two movies rental&store, a BP gas station, and get this {drum roll please ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~}
it's own McDonalds! LOL. Also, in MI they have black dirt! (more on that later). West branch is ownly twenty minutes away.
All in all Rose City isnt too bad. My dad loves it! (although, I have strong dislike for it. I get that from my mom.)
Greetings to all my friends in Rose City& Lupton,
Travel Gal
